Read time: ~2 minutes.
Healgen will exhibit at the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) 2026 Annual Meeting & Expo, held November 10–14 at the Seattle Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. At Booth 605, Healgen will showcase four molecular instruments, the GeneStream System, the HG-P320 Real-time PCR System, and the GeneScoper HG-I202 and HG-I204.
The lineup spans sample-to-answer, open-platform, and isothermal workflows, giving distributors, lab buyers, and clinicians one stop to compare molecular options across testing settings.
Molecular Testing Matched to the Setting
No single instrument fits every lab. A reference lab running broad panels has different needs than a clinic that wants an answer before the patient leaves. Healgen’s molecular portfolio, built on real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), covers both ends, so distributors and lab buyers can match the platform to the workflow.
GeneStream System: Sample to Answer in Under 45 Minutes
The GeneStream System brings a lab-grade real-time PCR workflow to a compact benchtop instrument. Its closed, all-in-one cartridge handles nucleic acid extraction and amplification internally, so there’s no separate extraction step and little hands-on training required. Operators collect the sample, transfer it to the cartridge, and start the test.
- About 2 minutes of hands-on time, with results in under 45 minutes
- Up to 8 targets in a single run, so one sample can answer several clinical questions
- Multiple sample types, including swabs, cervical cells, and plasma or serum
- Connected by design, with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, QR scanner, and laboratory information system (LIS) connectivity
- Small footprint at 352 x 165 x 280 mm
Assay options include a sexually transmitted infection (STI) panel for chlamydia, gonorrhea, Mycoplasma genitalium, and trichomoniasis (CT/NG/MG/TV), a Flu A/B/COVID-19/RSV respiratory panel, tuberculosis, and dengue, among others.
HG-P320 Real-time PCR System: An Open Platform for Flexible Labs
The HG-P320 is a portable, open-platform real-time PCR instrument for labs that want control over their menu. It’s compatible with most major PCR chemistries, so labs can run a broad range of targets beyond the Healgen test menu. Extraction happens separately, either manually or with the Healgen HG-N32 extraction system, before prepared samples go into the HG-P320 for amplification and detection.
- 32 wells across two 16-well blocks, with one or two programs running at the same time
- Reaction volumes from 15 to 100 µL to fit different assay protocols
- Portable at 8 kg, with a 300 x 267 x 198 mm footprint
- Standalone operation through a 7-inch touchscreen running Windows 10, with printing that doesn’t require a PC
Healgen assays for the HG-P320 include COVID-19/Flu A&B/RSV, tuberculosis (MTB), Ebola, and human papillomavirus (HPV), with additional targets available.
GeneScoper HG-I202 and HG-I204: Results in as Little as 5 Minutes
The GeneScoper systems are compact isothermal amplification instruments for near-patient and field settings. They use LAMP at a constant temperature with fluorescence monitoring, which removes the thermal cycling step and delivers results in 5 to 20 minutes. The workflow takes three steps, swab the sample, add solution, and run.
- Two capacities, with the HG-I202 running 2 samples and the HG-I204 running 4
- Minimal training required, suited to sites without dedicated molecular staff
- Multi-unit control through a companion app, so one operator can manage several instruments at a school, clinic, or event
- 2,000 records stored on-device for result tracking
Available GeneScoper tests include Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) DNA, Group B Streptococcus (GBS) DNA, and CT/NG DNA, among others.
Visit Healgen at Booth 605
The Healgen team will be at Booth 605 throughout the AMP 2026 expo to walk through each platform, its test menu, and the workflow it fits. Distributors and lab partners who want to set a meeting time in advance can contact us online.
The GeneStream System is for Research Use Only (RUO) and not for use in diagnostic procedures. [Confirm and add regional availability for the HG-P320 and GeneScoper systems, e.g. OUS only, before publishing.]
