The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Rapid Tests are rapid chromatographic immunoassays for the qualitative detection of HIV p24 antigen and/or antibodies (IgG, IgM, and IgA) to HIV-1 and/or HIV-2 and/or Subtype O in serum, plasma or whole blood. It is intended to be used as a screening test and as an aid in the diagnosis of infection with HIV.
